People helping others help themselves

That is the theme for a new project underway in the Philippines under
the direction of Bairnsdale's Dean Beveridge, a person who is intent
on encouraging impoverished people
to take their life in their hands and
improve their situation.

The newly set up 'Grenadi Care' is
an offshoot of Grenadi Design, housed
in the Pearson Institute in Bairnsdale.
Dean and his family recently travelled
to the Philippines island of Siquijor, a comparativelysmall island that is home to around 90,000 people.
